Ohhhh gosh.... This is really happening!?! I can't believe that this is actually coming together. I leave in NINE DAYS!? (Let the hyperventilating begin)
My flights are booked, I have started packing, and my bald spots are finally starting to grow back after the VISA process! (Not the easiest thing to go through and there were points where I definitely wanted to scream and rip out my hair in frustration :/ ). Everything seems to be getting in order and I am starting to get really excited!
I arrive August 8th and orientation and classes start soon after! I have to wait until then to finalize my classes and get my housing, so I do not know much about my living situation yet.
I am also excited that my mom, grandparents, and one of my aunts are planning on coming over and visiting while I am in Oslo! I can't wait to show them around and travel around Norway with them.
My Spanish class is almost over (thank god) and I can say that I have definitely developed a new language.... I call it Espanorsk. (Like Spanglish, but with a bit of Norwegian sprinkled throughout) I'm trying!!! I swear!
I just wanted to update everyone and I am planning on making the page public so that I can share this experience with whoever is interested! I will probably post more, but the next few days are going to be crazy with last minute packing and getting everything together.
