I can't believe it is already here! This still does not feel real to me..... After a few days of packing (Thanks for helping Michelle!) and running around like my head was cut off this morning, I am set and ready to go! I only forgot one thing (that I can think of ...so far...), but it wasn't that important. My parents drove me to the airport and I only wanted to throw up like, twice on the way here! I am currently sitting outside of my first gate and have two more hours to kill until boarding.
Saying goodbye to my parents was hard and there were many tears shed. I'm tearing up now just thinking of it... but I know that it will get easier and I have an incredible journey ahead of me!
From here, I fly to Washington. Then I have an 8 hour flight to Copenhagen, and another short flight over to Oslo, Norway. Then comes the tricky part... I have to navigate myself 30 miles to the Oslo Central Train Station where a group of volunteers is (hopefully) meeting all of the international students and directing us towards where to pick up our keys, how to get to housing, and how to get a metro card for getting around the city. Once I get to my housing I should be fine, but until then I will definitely be stressing out :). Hopefully everything will run smoothly and go as planned! I will not have internet access until I get my room set up, so I will update as soon as I can once I get there.
Thank you to everyone who helped me make this dream a reality and I will definitely miss all of you! This is going to be an incredible adventure and I can't wait!
